I'm looking for a charging stations for my Wii Remotes, and I'd like to know if you guys had any recommendations or things to look out for.

I'd definitely want one that comes with rechargable battery packs though.

And on a different note, does it consume extra power if you have the M+ plugged in, while playing a game that doesn't support it?

Get the eneloops batteries. They don't lose charge after extended time unuse.
And you can get one that comes with 1 hour charge charger.

Charging station, IMO, kills rechargeable faster since you're pretty much expending its life through continuous charging.

I have the energizer wii charger each battery last for 30 hours and you dont even have to remove m+ or your wii rubber cover.

I use the Niko dual charge... the battery life (after 2 years) is about 6 hours i'd say.

The problem is that the connections are not great... on the second slot my motes really need to be put in the exact spot for it to charge...

I'd be careful of chargers that don't have batteries... that's useless...

AA rechargeable batteries would be cheaper, and in my opinion more convenient. You get one of these

My question is why can't they do a charger through the nunchuck slot? that would be much easier... (think of this for the next console Nint)
