I agree, a new NSMB game at launch would be VERY smart indeed.  Rumors abound suggest a new joystick on the device, so whatever characteristics the new system will house, they'd be smart for a new Mario to be the first game to embrace them just as Mario 64 pioneered analogue control in a 3D world.

I'd like to see Virtual Console be available on Wii/3DS. Every system, portable or home console, as an option for both 3DS and Wii, with the option to take VC games from your Wii onto your 3DS.

I also like the idea of F-Zero 3DX!! And a proper online Animal Crossing, please. And new Advance Wars. 3D Wars, anyone?

I'd also like to see if Nintendo has any Brain Traning/Nintendogs style games planned-Nintendogs 3D doesn't seem too far fetched to me.

Heres to hoping there is less finger/stylus action and more tilt/analog stick action. Stylus is great for menu navigation, but I seriously don't want to 'flick' and 'swipe' my way through a game.

1. Final Fantasy 5 & 6 Remakes --- It was odd after rapid releases of FF3, 4 remakes why did we not get FF5 & FF6 remakes........well the answer is clear imo, they are coming to 3DS

If your assumptions are correct, for me that would mean 3DS would be the BEST console since the SNES.

I will be praying to the Nintendo gods for this to be true.

Would also love to see maybe a new Donkey Kong Country/64 game for this, if one is never made for the Wii.

A brand new Pokemon game, first and foremost.
A new FPS, perhaps another Moon, Dementium, or Metroid Prime game
Mario Kart is a given
Zelda is a given
Smash Bros
A clubhouse games that takes advantage of 3-D could be cool.
A NSMB game that is sort of a 2.5D, in that it is a side scroller but you can move in 2 or 3 layers, like in the background. You go in pipes to move from layer to layer.
A new Hotel Dusk Room 215 or Professor Layton mystery game that uses the 3-D (walking around a hotel looking behind furnature for clues, things like that)
A portable Mario Galaxy (Wouldn't be surprised if this gets made, since the hardware will be 3-D and Nintendo seems to enjoy making these games)
