Not familiar with the developer but it’s a great game, worth to spen your summer vacation every night with it, Monster hunting, mutations, assassinations and all around mercenary work.

You've missed the point there- other people thought the RPG was dying (as well as the PC). They thought differently and sold 1.5 million copies. Yay for them. And yay that it's a PC exclusive (at least initially)- not from a sense of Schadenfreude at console owners, more that it'll be a proper PC game and not compromised to appeal more to the mainstream console market or its controls/ UI hobbled to fit a joypad.
Anyway, some nice screenshots over on Gamespot.

Also, it looks like it could be interesting. Did the first one have controller support? |
The Witcher won more awards than Mass Effect. The Witcher was the RPGOTY of 2007.
I think its one of those games that fans appreciated more than the 86 score it received.
Look at GTA4 the user scores are way lower than critic scores.

Actually, that trailer is making me want to buy The Witcher, now. :-X
The BuShA owns all!
I missed on the witcher, but danm that poorly written statement (the guy didn't get anyone to proofread it seams), makes me want to buy both games.... looks like what game devs should be... honestly enthusiast about their games.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO
I will get this game but hoping that my 2 year old laptop can handle the graphics.
For anyone who didn't get the original, I can heartily recommend it, it's a very good game
