I know it wasn't the best election but my Sora can resist a LOT of attacks |
I pray to god that you answered the questions Tidus, Selphie, and Wakka ask you correctly.
They choose how quickly you level up. You want to go for equivalent throughout the game.
Either you get that, Level Quickly until Lv40 but slower after, or Level Slowly until Lv40 and quickly after.
Oh, and tips aren't necessary. The game's easy (except a certain optional boss on expert, but even then it's only hard at lower levels).
The story is hardly difficult to follow here. Then by KH2, it gets "OMGWTF!!"

The stories as complicated as MGS.
After you finish KH1 watch Chain of Memories cutscenes on youtube (its not important to have the game)

Hell no. Donald has Cure/a/ga and tons of MP.
And Goofy has lot of HP and the MP gift ability.
There's technically no purpose to switching Donald out for, say, Ariel, since she basically uses magic but can't even cure you.
Original party FTW.

It's called Accessories to help Donald stay alive.
He becomes infinitely helpful later in the game so you can keep your Magic for useful spells.

No way. Donald's cure comes in handy. Sure he's fragile but if you watch out for him occasionally you won't have to worry about it. Goofy should be soaking up the damage anyway, not Donald.
