Forums - General - GAIN weight FAST!!!!

Okay I am a skinny dude, and embarrassed to even tell my weight to people. I'm not teased at school or anything but ironically my own family makes it such a HUGE deal. They basically make fun of me and make tasteless jokes. "You're a skeleton, you might break your bones, the wind might push you, you look like a tree branch, etc" The funny thing is that at school its different, girls flirt with me, hit on me and all that. My family says I look ugly because I'm skinny so its so confusing. Yeah they basically tell me in my face I'm UGLY even my parents :\. I know I'm skinny but no matter what I can't seem to gain weight. Even if I have a huge meal, and I mean huge, a few 1 to 2 hrs I'm hungry again. Its like I'm never not hungry so its confusing. I have a low self esteem even though I still attract girls. This is spring break and I want to gain weight. I'm tired of all this mess from my family. Aunts and uncles also talk about my weight, which is why I kind of am scared when we have family reunions. Lets talk about 3 years ago, I was still skinny but in my weight range for my age then in 7th grade I had this accident where the car flipped over 4 times. Ever since people have said how much i have lost weight. My injury was that I had hit my head and it wasnt so serious, only had few bloody spots. What kind of schedule should I follow? Snakes between lunch, breakfast, etc. I do sometimes skip breakfast but thats going to change. Please suggest me anything. I really want to GAIN weight contrary to popular belief of loosing weight lmao.

ok first off your family is just...... something negative, 2nd u are graced enough to fit into catogory of ppl who are blessed with the ability to consume as they to whenever they want to with no fear of weight gain....... you have no reason to be ashamed of that at all

I had the same situation when I was your age (the weight problem), it's just your metabolism kicking ass. I would advise you to start doing weights have a protein shake after and a heavy meal and you gain muscle mass (which is heavier then raw fat) and you'll become much stronger in the process.

Rinse and repeat this, for someone your age I would say do a workout every 3 days in the week, for around 1 and half hours!

Just ignore what your parents say, mine call me a weaboo indirectly.

Yes my parents are very DIRECT and negative as well. Yeah but still I'm underweight. I never heard of a protein shake, does it taste good? Like can you name me a brand and what section of store to find it. I also need to be more active physically. @kantor...you mean eat like a pig? hah



 

        

Definitely protein shakes, also turning 30 will do it. I'm guessing you have a ways to go for that though.

They generally tend to taste bad, just get the chocolate flavored one and you'll be fine.
