Maybe closer to 100k? It all depends on how much GOWII sold first week, if not then we will have to wait 1 month to get exact non-extrapolated numbers from chartrack.
if UK is about 1/4-1/5 of PS3 market in others, 90k in Uk means about 400k in others

Yes, just under 80k... |
ioi when are we going to get that article on GOW III numbers for Week 1?
Secondly if GOW III has done <80k so it performed less than HR in UK. :O
Less than Heavy Rain. Mindblowing.
The 80k figure would place FFXIII's first week at 240k and second week at 48k.
B:BC2's third week would be at 78k, most impressive.
Currently playing on PS3: God of War III
Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII
Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

Damn, didn't expect GOWIII to do lower numbers then HR.
I hope Sony will release some global sales figures for their next fiscal year report (and of course end of year after the holidays). The first 2 games sold over 8 million copies on the PS2 worldwide, the gains for NA and the UK seem to bode well for global sales.
The PS3 sold 33.5 million worlwide by the end of 2009, with the sales success for early 2010 games like Heavy Rain, FFX XIII and God of War 3 this could well be far the PS3's best fiscal Q4. If the shortages don't put too much constraint on sales, the PS3 will probably have sold 36-37 million at the end of this month!
No, I dont believe that it sold less than Heavy Rain, thats just not possible..
