Vice City holds a special place in my heart. I had such a great time with it when I was stuck with my grandfather overseas.

For me that would be GTA III, a true revolution in almost every sense of the word. It broke new ground on several fronts and was a solid game to boot.

Vive city!!!  It made you feel like tony montana!

I'd have to say SA was my favorite so far, it just had some variety to it. Although, it's soundtrack was not anywhere near as good as Vice City's was.

Vice City all the way. SA was fun, but Vice City just had that special something. Maybe it was the era it was betraying. GTA4 I didn't like that much, it was just too serious. IMO GTA should be like one of those action movies where its just so over the top even the actors know that its a joke and so they just run with it, and that makes it entertaining.

GTA3 was amazing though for how new the whole concept was at the time. Pity my TNT2 M64 could barely handle it, making it nigh unplayable at the time.

nothing and i mean nothing, San Andreas for me is and yes the best game ever made onto any console, the amount cars, planes, trucks, motor bikes, quad bikes, jet packs, guns and many many more is endless, it was a revolutionary game for the ps2, and i really see Rock star making a San Andreas remake soon, or the next one based on the exact same content,

you are kidding right, the sountrack was the best out of every single GTA game, the ice cube, snoop dogg, and tupac, eazy E, where just astonishing t fitted teh games setting 100 percent, well unless you are a heavy metal freak
