Forums - Gaming - This gen's Shadow Hearts?

I am a big fan of Shadow Hearts and I have always seen it is a very underrated franchise from the PS2 era.

What do you see as this gen's Shadow Hearts?

For some strange reason I think it will be Resonance of Fate. I haven't played it yet so I don't really know why, but I just have that feeling.

Well RoF does seem to fit the bill for a few reasons. The story is quirky and weird with a good amount of funny. The battle system is unique and interesting. Those were the two main things that made me love Shadow Hearts.

You're killing me Torillian.

I have had this feeling for a while and you weren't the first person on my list that I expected to respond to this thread.

I really can't wait to get this game now. This game gives off such an unbelievable vibe to me.

Resonance of Fate. tri-Ace has made some pretty wierd games but this may be their wierdest yet.

Well before you get all giddy Euphoria just know that it can be pretty difficult at times, but so far every time I have thought that I was put up against insurmountable odds and I needed to go grind I actually had everything I needed, just needed to use a new trick.

I still don't understand the idea behind Gauge Break, I can make it happen I just don't get the point.

If Review Scores were anything to go by (Screw you IGN and your 5.5 for Shadow Hearts 1)

Id say WKC.

Tho, RoF might be what you are looking for (atleast so Far).

Difficulty and grinding do not bother me in the least, so I shall stay giddy.

You're talking to a fan of Demon's Souls (Difficulty) and Disgaea (Grinding) fan here.
