Some of you really liked VIII, eh? I remember nothing about the story past the card game, which I enjoyed immensely. The rest of the game left virtually no impression.

Hard to rate m for 5/5, there's too much difference between the parts to put m down within this rating system.
Leaves a lot of fives and fours for almost every Final Fantasy is of more than mediocre quality.

Good game that still felt like Final Fantasy, but started to add new ideas.

Had a great soundtrack, but the cast was just ok. Also the junction system was an interesting idea, but I spent way too much time drawing for 100 of each spell for every character. Also game became broken the moment you had access to Aura/Aura stones.

Final Fantasy 9 - 5/5
Zidane isn't my favorite protagonist, but I loved the rest of the cast, the story and the overall feeling the game gave me. Probably the last time we ever see a main series Final Fantasy like that.

Hate this game. Hated Tidus and Yuna. Didn't care for the setting and story overall.

Have a love hate with this game, fun when you got a great party. Bad when you stand around for hours looking for a group only to never find anyone. Or worse yet, find one only to have it disband 30 mins after you get there -_-

Final Fantasy 12 - 5/5
I really liked the direction they went in the battle system. Cast isn't the greatest though. Having Vaan as the main character was a O_o since the story was pretty much about Ashe.

Final Fantasy 13 - 3/5
Liked the battle theme and boss battle theme, but rest of soundtrack is forgettable. Battle system holds your hand too much and is really too easy in my opinion. Also I didn't like how the final tier of the cystal board only unlocks after you beat the game. If you only found the game ok, very little reason to go back and max out the CB once you've beaten it. Also Snow pissed me off a lot.
