Personally, the last few console F1 games have been seriously bad and unrealistic. The last good console F1 game was F1 World Grand Prix on the N64. Hopefully, with Anthony Davidson on board with Codemasters they really are attempting to make an authentic experience for F1 fans. They should steer clear of making it family friendly if they want the game to be a success. F1 fans are probably the most knowledgable racing fans around. The technicalities the sport carries almost requires you ti have a basic understanding that surpasses all other motorsports.

For eyou can watch rallying or Nascar and enjoy without much knowledge of how it works and what is causing stuff. But with F1, without knowing could make either things seem boring or that a driver isnt as good. Hopefully they realise this and make it very realistic.

I thought F1 2001 and F1 2002 were pretty good.

The EA ones. They were ok. I just want realsim. Proper handlng. 1 mistake can cost you the race. Etc etc.
