I didnt realize there were so many 360 fanboys on this website, thought it was mainly a ps3 bias site but man was I wrong lol. Funny how one man could stir up such heated debate, some of you guys are pathetic. Grow the hell up. Ps move is wii hd, natal is ps eye hd, everyone needs to get over it and let the professionals act like fanboys lol. Its just amazing that I can be associated with those who choose one system over the other for whatever reason and take statements like the ones jack is making (which are pretty damn stupid and arrogant) to heart as if they were directed at you. Who the fuck cares? Its a shame that there are so many of you that are missing out on the best experiences of a gen because you choose brand loyalty, and i seriously doubt that some of you own some games for systems you say you do based on your comments alone. Ridiculous.

I also doubt that most of you have any kind of sex life, because I couldnt imagine any real woman dealing with the childish bullshit half of you post on here on a daily basis.

It's always funny to come into a thread and read 360 fans proclaiming the greatness of Natal and how original it is, yet bash the Move as acopy of the Wiimote. How hypocritical. Its kinda like Nintendo fans who proclaim nintendo the maker of the analog stick, while forgetting about the Atari 5200 and the fact that the PS1 was the bigger success, as well as the design of the DS has inspired all controllers since its creation (yep, even Nintendo controllers).

Let's face it, in every industry things are taken and improved upon. If it wasn't we wouldn't have color TV's, cell phones, or even video games. We'd still be pushing that hoop with a stick. Now, I can see where Sony has taken the design of the Wiimote and improved upon it with its own tech (PS Eye), just as much as I can see MS taking the design of the EyeToy/PS Eye and improving (maybe) upon it with its own tech. I say maybe because we have yet to see Natal final product and games, so we don't know if they will fix the lag issues (something I haven't really experienced with the PSeye). I also say it based on an article published by IGN's Matt Casamassina, where he talked to a developer off the record about the Move and Natal. He wrote, "Natal, though -- the motion offering from Microsoft -- not so much. The same studio rep calls Natal a big, buggy mess. "It's sh*t," he adds, saying that it just doesn't work as promised. That it's slow and that the camera is imprecise, which he notes, is causing some major development woes." http://wii.ign.com/articles/107/1076600p1.html

Now that same developer is stated as saying that the Move will be an improvement over the Wii and that "their own tests are already proving that true." Which gives me hopes for Move, but in the end, I don't think either will be huge successes, with Move having a better chance than Natal.

It only looks that way later because of him zooming in on the TV messes with the auto- focus and lighting. In fact, you can also see that he is in an ALL white room. The kind someone is always in when demoing Natal behind closed doors. Now, I am going to hold final judgement till release, but if these are the conditions it needs to even get that kind of lag, then it will not be a success.

I don't see how you can just dismiss the inspiration MS most likely took from the Eye Toy and give it the Wii (even though Natal is mostly a camera and not a bar of infrared sensors), just because you deem Eye Toy a failure. Especially since Eye Toy was a success, given that is was an accessory not needed to play the vast majority of games.

It was released in mid-late 2003 in EU and NA, 3 years before the PS3's release. In Japan it was released early 2004, just over 2 years before the PS3 was set to release. In in that time it went on to sell over 10.5 mil units. Unfortunately, as the PS3's launch grew nearer, the software support for it dried up. However, 10.5 mil sold would have to be a success in most people's books, especially since some analysts think that Natal and Move will sell around the same or less. To put it in perspective, the Gamecube and X-box were only able to sell around twice that amount of units for each of their consoles in their entire lifetime.

I didn't read any of the first comments, and I'm not going to. But seeing qmoney88's quote above me, it's pretty obvious this is yet another case of people bitching about PR. When will people grow up and realize this is a part of business?
