Before all the crazy price cuts, I had the PS3 at 6.5 million at the end of 2007.

Now, I say 7 - 8.5.

I was always saying 7.5-8.5m - and I stick to that. Pretty much the predictions that *most* people have been making since the start of the year.

And its still 2-3m short of where Sony need it to be - for their WACKY financial, fiscal predictions.

Last week it outsold the 360 in WW sales, it was at 215k, I expect 230k for this week. 

No, I don't think it will make it, but 7.5m is quite doable.

It will be close. Depends mostly on whether or not it can pull through in Japan. If it doesn't do as well there it will miss 8 mill by about ~200-300k.



@ Rolstoppable: you have to be kidding me. PS3 went sub-10k/week in Japan and was barely scraping 25k/week in America. Even if its 2008 is totally underwhelming, despite all of its game releases, it HAS to do better than that.

Does anyone think that Sony will still reach it's goal of 14.57 million by March 31, 2008?

Shipped ps3's maybe, I expect 10m by march not 11m.
