Ok, I have been wanting to try out Battlefield BC2 before I purchase it. And I have been looking all over for the damnd demo (360 version). Does anyone know if they are going to release a demo for it? And to those of you who enjoy this type of game what are your thoughts? I know it has received decent reviews and I plan on getting the game. But I refuse to purchase a game without playing it first, I have been burned in the past and blowing $60 bucks on something thats not what your looking for sucks. |
The demo for the game ended a week before release. It was completely mutiplayer so there is no reason for it to still be avaiable for download (as opposed to the demo for the first game, which had a singleplayer portion as well.
I am on my iPhone so I won't be able to post gameplay video. However I personally will remember this game as the one I had most fun with this generation. Please post the qualities you think make a multiplayer FPS game good.
Everyone knows how fanatical I am about the game so I'll post my negatives:
* One or two guns that are "overpowered". Nothing game breakingly powerful, and it is easy to defeat such people with the starting guns, just slightly annoying to see everyone use the M60
* High emphasis on teamwork. While such a thig is also a HUGE positive, it can also horribly backfire when you don't have friends to play with And half your team are Recon snipers. If you don't have any friends to play with use the PSN/LIVE exchange on the official forum, and friend anybody you meet with mics (although mics shouldn't be a problem for LIVE)
* Small bugs. It makes you want to scream when you sneakup on a sniper, clearly stab a knife on his back, and end up being point blanked shot by a sniper rifle.
* Linear maps on Conquest. There are a few maps that have a more open and varied flag set up. However there are 2 maps (Atamaca Desert and White Pass) that are literally a straight line.
