In your opinion.
Our trusted industry reviewers though say that Little Big Planet is easily the most innovative, and best 2D Platformer this gen.

If GTA IV was the best game out there this generation then, yeah, I would gladly go back to my beloved N64.

According to "Our trusted industry reviewers" there isn't an AAA JRPG this generation. Also, 2 remakes of 10 year old games are better than the most anticipated JRPG of the generation.
Pixel Art can be fun.

So? Stop trying to argue against irrefutable factual evidence. This is almost as bad as when you thought Gold > Silver!
And Final Fantasy 7: Remake hasn't even been released yet.

Review scores doesn't make a game the most favoured in the world, for example movie reviews. So it means that pixar makes the best movies in the world?

Its user created content makes it so. No other can claim that.

bad example they do make the best movies in the world

Sorry, but how can we call LittleBigPlanet the best platformer of this generation? Yes, Metacritic proves it (and some people needs really to tease others, like this thread) but IMO, I prefer Super Mario Bros Wii, even if it has no level editor. Score doesn't mean the game is fun for everyone. It's just an indication of the quality of a game. When you see Grand Theft Auto IV, you can see it's a quality game, but that doesn't mean it's your best game.
Same with Ocarina of Time or Galaxy. I considered both of them the best Nintendo 3D games of all time, yes, Metacritic proves the quality of those titles, but some people may think LittleBigPlanet is better than Galaxy and vice versa.
Oh and characters and controls respond better in New Super Mario Bros Wii.
