God of War III is just another excellent PS3 exclusive to add to the PS3s extensive high quality first party liberary. The PS3 exclusive line-up as a whole is the systems real selling point, along with blu-ray... an individual game like god of war is likely to only sell maybe 100k systems. It might of course prompt more people to buy a PS3 earlier than they normally would have done due to it's release, but I don't see it having much of an impact on overall sales.

Good one but don't you know that you are only allowed to say shit like that about Halo and the 360? I won't be buying a PS3 for God of War 3. Not because I have anything against Sony or anything like that but like others have said, it's a matter of having the time to game and I don't have time in my life for a PS3.

I already have a PS3 myself, but I'm not even slightly interested in GoWIII. Played the demo, was very unimpressed, just seems to have nice shiny graphics, but the core gameplay didn't seem much different than it's previous, tedious iterations. Not a fan of hack-n-slash combo games though, so I'm totally biased against the genre.

I look forward to similar threads from you when a X360 exclusive (Reach, Alan Wake, ...) comes out :)
