It's only with the Wii doing so horrifically badly that the HD consoles look in any way good. They got a moderate boost from FFXIII (bigger for the 360). Consider if the Wii had enough supply to be flat YoY for the week. The HD consoles would have only eeked out a little market share for the week.

Yup, let us ignore that the PS3 is also supply constrained.

I know it has supply issues, but they're not to the level of the Wii. And if they were, just what sort of levels do you think we'd be seeing PS3 at without stock issues?

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

How do you know for sure that the PS3 supply issues are not to the level of Wii's,or worse?

3000 seperating a system bundled with Final Fantasy XIII. I understand people wanting the PS3 version more but the 360 bundle should have had a larger gap.

The PS3 also has God of War III which is contributing a lot more than FFXIII at the moment.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

When a console shoots up in sales on a week with no releases, that means supply is very tight indeed. I'm sure PS3 is seeing supply issues, but we have no evidence that it's that sort of level. If it was, why was there a FFXIII boost at all?

Because Sony is being prepared for FFXIII+GoW III week?

In Canada, while supplies last.

IMPRESSIVE for PS3, considering that the advertisement for FF13 focused on the 360, there were Bundles for 360 and the PS3 is still out of stock at most places

Good HD sales, PSP should pack up and jump off the nearest cliff in NA. DS over Wii again, that'll be a rare sight this year.

Adjustments... I think this is right?

360 up 60k
PS3 up 27k

wii? not sure.

werent both PS3 n XBOX360 were around ~70k less than NPD March for VGC March..

Odd that both were a bit undertracked but only the 360 gets adjusted up to match the NPD numbers altough the PS3 was number 1 in Canada (NPD).
