Why would you say I hate the game? Love or hate the game, any scene where you're chasing after Jason is pretty stupid and the game is pretty funny. |
I agree. I loved the game, but the beginning was incredibly awkward. To make things even worse, Jason glitched on me, so when he was supposed to have disappeared he actually didn't wander very far away at all. I caught up to him and kept screaming at him, but he wouldn't respond, the little bastard. Finally I changed camera angles and he vanished.
I laughed my head off when he died.
UGH! This game now tops Deadly Premonition! Maybe I am wrong. Anyone know if Deadly Premonition has something classic like that?
Hmm... maybe people need to stop holding videogames up to the standard of movies, and expect a system exclusive to suddenly be like a AAA movie, that the world will start to bow down and worship.

Laughing at a bad scene in a game is different than hating the game.
I just don't understand the people actually taking that game seriously and telling me I fail. Heavy Rain is a big budget game, they could have sprung for a few more lines for calling out to Jason. Laughing at this is like laughing at the horrible Maria scene in Gears 2. Put down your fighting gloves every now and then and just laugh.
clearly most of you are kids and all you did was spam x when playing heavy rain , wouldnt expect many of you to put yourself in the moment, whatever amazing game , i dont think the intention of the developers was to make their audience laugh when a boy gets hit by a car.
just goes to show the large gap of attention between action games , humorous games and serious games

I was pretty into the game and I took spamming X as trying to find my son. I don't know why a parent frantically looking for their kid in the mose crowded mall ever wouldn't be calling out for their kid.
Oh gods, who gave the go ahead for that particular sound clip (I think you know which one I mean). I just can't imagine the guys at QD testing this game going "Yeah, that sounds just like a frantic father. . . that has a speech impediment." That was one of the more irritating things ever, very disjointed compared to the brilliance of most of the game.
I find the game amazing but that video was frickin hilarious!
A troll thread to stealth-bash Heavy Rain...nice.
