Kitase is looking into making FFXIII-2 if FFXIII sells well.

Oh god, I hope not, as much as I like XIII, I also liked X and X-2 was a huge disappointment for me, and it should have been the opposite, with 3 female backsides to look at :)

And the last paragraph scares me:

“We do not know if there will be a XV. This depends a lot on the success of XIII. Also, it is difficult to pinpoint elements that are typical Final Fantasy. They are mostly invisible: part of the DNA of the game, that everyone recognizes as typical Final Fantasy. But if there is a XV, I hope the way we wrote our characters carries over. So, if XIII does well, we will most likely see a XV and an XIII-2, on the other hand...

Actually, I loved FFXII-2, i found it to be as good as X, and it have a much higher replay factor. And consider that it should be pretty cheap to release this, since everything is already done.

Sure, FFXII-2 was easy money for S-E.

^ FF XII-2 had one of my favorite battle system of any FF game.

That would be great, a sequel to one of the best FF's.

I loved FFX-2 it the best Battle System in FF until FFXIII and I loved the mini Games and JPOP/JROCK music and Yuna is one of my favorite characters in FF and I see FFX & FFX-2 as one awesome package that gives you the full story the world of spira because alot of the story of FFX-2 was made from elements removed from FFX and to me me FFXIII-2 would be very awesome because Lightning is a awesome character and the world of COCCON cool.  

final fantasy 13-2 is almost a definite i would say remember they said they had an enough content cut for an entire game that would be perfect to you use in 13-2 it would be a shame for them for it to go 2 waste and would be alot faster an cheaper than ff 13

I'd prefer they release that cut content as a DLC for half the price of a game, rather than wait 1-2 yrs for a new FFXIII-2
