I'm about 35 hours into Final Fantasy and noticed i already have 40 saves, although i know i will probably never go back to any of them.

How do you manage your Savegames?

Do you have a system when to save and witch ones to keep?

Do you make a new save for every savepoint there is or do you go with a single save for a whole Game?

 

...and how many do you have for Final Fantasy XIII ?

I tend to have 1 savegame for the entire playthrough. Every once in a while I'll make a second save point if I think I screwed something up and want the option to go back in the game. This doesn't happen too often though.

I have 0 Final Fantasy XIII saves, but I do have 4 NSMBWii saves.




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

i only have one FFXIII save, i just keep overwriting it

sometimes but i usually just play the game again or i could youtube it, but thats usually quite low quality so i usually just replay it, thats what i did on FFX because the Sinspawn Gui was my favourite boss aswell as Seymour in Macalania.

16 hours play time, just started disc 2 on the 360 and 52 saves. I have 1 save for every save point and chapter save points

I have 2 XIII save files. I made one after about 20 hours, just in case something went wrong, but other than that I have just been saving over 1, I don't want things to get messy

Being a PC gamer, due to complex plots and, alas, buggy games, I always keep multiple saves.
This didn't always save me, though, for example months ago I had to start again Planescape: Torment because the old savegames weren't compatible with the unofficial widescreen patch.

i believe that is what makes the difference between the "multiple saves" and "single saves" people.

 

if you come from PC gaming you are used to have as many saves you want, but if you come from Console gaming you are used to few saves due to the restrictions of the older console generations

I have about 15-20..  Was just doing 5 and re-writing them then I got lazy when I saved and just made a new one for the last while
