Nox perhaps? Have you played Stone Prophet? One of the coolest RPG's of all time!
I also always return to the two first Thief games every time I play Deus Ex again (roughly once every year) and I'm currently playing Syndicate!

Syndicate...ah the memories.

OT: Rocketpig, are you into adventure games? If so, you should try one of the Tex Murphy games. The one I remember playing mainly was Under a Killing Moon.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

PLAY FALLOUT!!!!! Also play Diablo II. BUT MOSTLY PLAY FALLOUT!!!!

Seriously, it's amazing.

I've played enough Fallout and Diablo to last the average human about ten lifetimes.

Honestly, Diablo just didn't do it for me. It's the typical Blizzard nearly-flawless experience, it just isn't my cup of tea. I am more of a Warcraft fan (speaking of which, I need to add the original Starcraft to this list, it's been a long time since I played that game).

Good Lord, it's been years since I heard the name Tex Murphy.

A couple of the games are on that site me and a few others linked up there.

Just go through their catalog, you will find something you like.

I think they have King's Quest now, at least a few of them.

X-COM (was abandonware a while ago, but I guess it's on Steam super mega cheap right now).
I'm OK (freeware).
JFK (freeware).
Magic Carpet (probably abandonware by now).
Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender (probably abandonware by now).

I'd be happy to describe any of those if you haven't heard of them.

Both worth checking out, though not too sure if underdogs is working again or not.

King's Quest is pretty easy to find. Man, KQV was raping hard. Stupid Cedric would warn you only after you've done something which will get you killed.
