750 terabyte...
That's actually a figure you could turn into sales with a couple of assumptions. If half of that is downloading of new purchases, and the average size of a game downloaded is 4 gig, that would mean 100 000 sales each day during the holiday sale. Could possibly be a lot more, if average download size is smaller, and a bit less if the numbers are incorrect the other way. 700 000 sales during one week sounds reasonable to me, if it's during the most busy week of the year.

Yea it's all going to depend on the game. You can go from like 600 megs from a game like Half-Life to 15gigs from a game like Empire: Total War.

Napoleon Total War is up to 17GB, but you also have to consider demos being downloaded

Is the Napoleon demo any good? I mean, it'll probably be like other Total War demos and only have the battle tutorials. However, I remember the Empire demo running so slow and missing things (like sound effects) that it wasn't worth the download.

I don't think there is any demo, but the overall game is good, but it is what Empire should have been last year

There is a demo. *edit* Oh what the hell, I'll download it and check it out.

Hopefully the game isn't as buggy? I just lost the progress of my 90 turn campaign in Empire the other day because the save file currupted or something and the game crashes while loading it.

So there is, I never bothered downloading it

It is nowhere near as buggy, the only slight bugs are AI bugs. For about 30 turns, the Kingdom of Italy would move its troops backwards and forwards each turn, but as I said, this is how Empire should have been!

interesting but still actual sales data would be better
