ohh.. me too

| *Sound Of Rain said: I may get some of the other games out of those 6 that I didn't get before June. Right now this is how much I want each game in order from most to least: 1.Super Mario Galaxy 2 2.Monster Hunter 3 Tri 3.Calling 4.Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing 5.Silent Hill S.M 6.The Conduit As of now I won't be buying the Calling(At least not until later) |
If you have Mario Kart you don't need Sega Racer. If you don't have Mario Kart you should buy Mario Kart instead of the mediocre Sega Racer.
If you are not a die hard multiplayer shooter fan you don't need The Conduit. The solo mission is boring as hell.
You SHOULD prefer Silent Hill:SM above Calling. Calling is a low budget production, it's nice but has many flaws. SH:SM is perhaps the best survival horror game ever released. The only flaw of Shattered Memories is the short playtime (around 8 h).

Agreed except with the Kart racers. I for one actually prefer the Sega offering over Mario Kart. Both are great but I enjoyed Sega's game more. That said Mario Kart has the vastly larger online community.

All right. I am now above the four hour mark on the game. And I don't get the reviews and comments on metacritic. I have fun playing this game. Let me tell you, I have jumped many times during plays and even if the graphics are not great, the get the job done.
I have now finished playing the old lady chapter. I thought the graphical effects were amazing. Super atmosphere. Yes it does get repetitive visiting the same places a lot of the times, but I don't mind. I play the game as it is, not as I wish it was.
Silent Hill SS and Cursed Mountain are better overall, but Calling actually MADE me jump as I was playing. The other two games, gems on there own, were more about gameplay, graphics and environments.
I will see it to the end. And will continue to post. Even if I have a feeling I am pretty lonely in appreciating it.

Ok. I have played for about 2 hours tonight and finished the first part, I guess. Great ending to the first part of the story. A bit of a shocker at the end. After that, the credits roll and you unlock a new chapter with a new character. He was met earlier in the game and seems intersting enough.
The story for the first part was interesting if not mind-blowing. And the ending was ok. I won't spoil anything, even if nobody plays the game.
So, that's six hours so far and still more to do. I recommend this game. Just try it out when the price goes down.
I'll keep posting untill I get to the.heum..second ending.

Log in another hour tonight. Finished the first chapter after the official first ending. It was good. A lot more action with this character. But, the scares get less and less...hum...scary!
In the second chapter with the new character and here we go! Much fun. I am actually unable to go forward because of a clever little puzzle if you like. I have to sneak up on the ghosts to get my cellphone, but I must use stealth. I have not figured how to get there yet. And each time they "see" you, you go back to the beginning, but your scare meter goes up everytime. My guy was really panicking before I died. Anyway, will try it again tomorrow.
I'm up to seven hours now. And I don't regret buying it.

I started playing it. Then I got the Don't open that door message! Ya I had to stop!
