"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
Damn, those are really great numbers. Can't wait to see the first week numbers for this game
03/10/09 HUGE day in my life:
Well for retailer preorders that is good. I don't know if people are forgetting, but retailer preorders are shipments, or what the people that make the game actually care about. Pretty good for just Canada.

Hello people,
I wish to advise you that a lot of French players like me practice import games. And especially from Canada where the language is the same.
The games are sold in France 70 euro or 96 US dollars (98 CAN dollars) so basically we can pay two import games instead only one at home !
So the numbers may be good;)

Now there's a damn good comment! I don't know if importing would contribute THIS much, but your viewpoint is certainly a useful one.

I'm going to go with the former. I doubt GoW3 has ~2 million pre-orders in NA.

Kowhoho,
I don't know if the French import contribute significantly to these numbers. What i know is the forumers of the largest videogames french websites since 1-2 years (and since we have a strong euro) are turning increasingly to imports.
But then the French sales are not high.
