Forums - Gaming - Where are the Forums & articles on the clone known as ( Move )

Wow.... you guys really don't get it....

1) No clone threads cause the clone bashing is done as a response to "mote is the new messiha" articles... (so the clone threads are in red... which was the color of the main page in the past 2 days...)

2) Wii fans are not anygry at sony getting motion controls, they are angry at sony dissing the wii as not being competition, a kid's console, saying motion is just waggle, and then just do a clone of the Wii proven motion controls with clones of the wii games that made them popular. They are angry at the hypocrisy of sony.

3) 360 fans are quiet because they are not in the motion war... not that the PS3 dans tried to pull them in with all the eyetoy was first posts.

4) PS3 has always had it's share of fanatic suporters it's nothing new...

Actually I have seen lots of "Move is a Wiimote-Clone!" postings so far.
And they are right, by looking at the Move controllers alone it's obvious that Move is really just an improved Wiimote/Wiimotion+ - clone.

But you know what? I just don't care. Good ideas/technologies have always been adopted and improved by others. That's probably the biggest driver for technical progress.
So I can understand if Nintendo is pissed by Move cloning the Wiimotion+ since they might be making less profit. But why should I blame Sony for doing so? To end users like me this is just beneficial. Natal is just an improved EyeToy-clone as well, but that doesn't make it bad either!

1. So Wii fans can't handle PS3 fans hyping up the new control scheme they have?

2. They have been angry at that for years. Then they went over the top at E3 last year when Natal/Move were shown, and it calmed down a bit until Sony actually really showed off the thing... Then they went batshit crazy. Sony even COMPLIMENTED Nintendo on the things they have done while Move was being shown.

3. They have Natal. Which actually has a better potential than Move. They are in the "motion war" for sure.

4. Yep, just like Microsoft, and as we have recently seen... Nintendo.

2. shit talk, shit talk, shit talk, compliment.... oh that's ok then, they said a compliment at the end....
Of course they will compliment nintendo when copying them, they are trying to get the same crowd to buy PS3s, they are not gonna continue to say Wii owners are kids and nanies, no, they now tell them "oh you did the right choice, but now we have something better that folows your perfect judgment" it's marketing...but pissing off customers that you don't target to look good to your rabbid fans is just plain stupid... especially when you target them as customers a few years later.

3. should have said motion remote war :p
