i completly agree with you, i like the two towers the most, and mainly due to the helms deep part, prepareing for the battle and then the battle itself.

I'd say my fav one is the first, I really don't like those parts in TT and RotK with Frodo, they are rather boring once you've seen them once or twice. So I'd rate it:

FotR > TT + RotK

But all in all my favourite movies period.

I love all the movies, but I have to go with the Two Towers. It's really close between all three though. And I'm still waiting for the extended editions to be released on blu-ray!

The Two Towers by a hair over Return of the King

I hated Fellowship of the Ring though. I'm an action guy and this movie was more about the story than action.
