Should MLB 2K11 be made X360 console exclusive?

With 360 first week sales of MLB 2K10 outselling the PS3 version by more than two to one, do you think 2K should scrap a PS3 version of the game and go 360 console exclusive? The PS3 already has a MLB game and is generally regarded as being better than the 2K series, so would scrapping the PS3 version improve next year's installment?

I don't see how it would improve it, it'd just lower their sales to be fair...

Can someone please explain to me how going exclusive can merit more sales than multiplatform, it's really confusing, the only thing I can think of is the hyping of an exclusive game equals sales, but seriously, aside from that, that's all I've got.

No because they are still making money from PS3. It isnt very much but they are still getting money comparatively to not making a game. Also MLB the show is first party for SONY so 2K isnt really competing with anyone

MLB10 the show > MLB2k10 no offence :P

ms should just buy sony so all the fanboys will finally stfu or move on to nintendo. you shouldn't have made a poll especially on this site.

Yeah MLB10 the Show=win, sorry

No... 2k would lose sales and profits. It costs little to do these games. The gameplay, engine, and lineups are already. it just needs to be programed. It doesnt need a story writer. a director. a concept artist.

Yes... because then more people would pick up the show.

The series seems to be in an alarming decline.

MLB 2K7
360- 760k
PS3- 230k

Total: 990k

MLB 2K8
360-640k
PS3- 250k

Total: 890k

MLB 2K9
360-600k
PS3-130k

Total: 730k

A now MLB 2K10 has opened lower then 2K9 on both consoles. Half in the case of the 360 version.

A better question might be should MLB 2k11 even be made?

Oh... and not to mention if 2k was like "hey we want to drop the ps3"

the major league baseball would be like "okay... we'll take that license back fom you. Now you aren't allowed to use our name, our teams names, or our players name. have fun selling a pile of shit"

no, because they should just scrap the game altogether. 2k's baseball franchise is dead. it sold less than half of what it did last year. it's time to let it go. 2k11 will be a money drain on them if they still make it.
