I know, i know... It is as of this very moment a Wii Exclusive. But without a contract with Ninty FOR exclusivity, i think this could end up being a PS3/Wii multi.
Reasons being...
- Wii Remote and PS Wand are very, very similar in the things they can do.
- A huge JRPG audience are already on PS3, including the Final Fantasy fanbase.
- Square-Enix let Final Fantasy XIII be on Xbox, because Microsoft asked... And because of the extra large userbase, ofcourse. Looking at this, couldn't Sony also "ask" SE for DQX on PS3? It would be a no brainer as far as i'm concerned. 100M+ Total Userbase is hard to turn down.
- Square-Enix are already developing for the PS Move, they will have experience in both motion devices by DQX release.
So... Did i miss any possible reasons? Am i being foolish? Post!

1. The chance of Dragon Quest X using the Wii motion controls are very slim. Wii controls don't add anything to the Dragon Quest gameplay, aside from Mini games. And they already did the 'wiimote' enabled Dragon Quest game. It was Dragon Quest Swords.
2. The amount of actual 'JRPG fans' on the PS3 aren't as big as you may think. I mean, even FFXIII didn't make as big of a dent than people expected in Japan. Let alone games like Disgaea 3, White Knight Chronicles, Tales of Vesperia, Valkria Chronicles, The Last Remnant, Enchanted Arms, the list goes on... Nothing can even come close to the 'moderate' appeal of games on the PS2, even after its been declared a 'last gen' system. To say nothing of the sales for the JRPGs on the DS and PSP in Japan, which even a 'mediocre' JRPG can make the best selling PS3 RPG in Japan look like table scraps. Which, aside from FFXIII, is currently White Knight Chronicles at 360,000 copies.
3. People never learn. SquareEnix is made of multiple divisions. And the division that oversees the development of Dragon Quest, otherwise known as Armor Project, pretty much has their own say of how to make the game. They have guided it to be one of the most successful franchises in Japans history and SquareEnix isn't going to question their ideas now. As for Sony, they have no say in its development. And you don't just make a Wii game and a PS3 game. There's only been a handful of games ever made like that so far. And they've been made completely independent of each other (think Ghostbusters: The Video Game). They are NOT going to make two versions of Dragon Quest X.
4. Yuji Horii has already and always said he makes his games for 'the most popular system on the market'. Sorry, but Wii and DS are those systems. Likewise, he has never made a multi-platform Dragon Quest game (unless you count Dragon Quest Monsters that could play on both Game Boy Pocket and Color).
