Good God, the difference for Battlefield is MUCH higher in favor of the 360 than I expected. O_O

My guess is the PC is starting to erode some of the core PS3 userbase for multiplats with a strong PC presence. Bad Company 2's origins are in the PC based Battlefield series and many of the PC/PS3 owners will probably be looking to try out DX11 on their spanking new Radeons.

agree and also ps3 owners had this month to choose beetween 2 games(ff13+gow3) that basically got their systems for...

Agree!

It doesn't make sense, especially in light of the exclusive beta on the PS3.

Do you know what its like to live on the far side of Uranus?

Wii exploted this week and the PSP plummeted

Bad Company skewed towards the X360 way more heavily than the preorder charts indicated, just shows they aren't the best barometer for making predictions I guess.

Good to see Fable II still selling about 10,000 a week.

X360 over 100,000 this early in the year is a bit surprising.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

This is what happens to me.  Almost all PC/PS3 multi's get purchased for my PC (DA:O, Bioshock 2, etc).  This also happens to all of my friends that have gaming PC, it comes first before either console.

BC2 was pimped pretty hard on Live and in 360-land for quite awhile. And it paid off for them. I think others are right that part of it is that PS3 had MAg that occupied some of that crowd and PS3 owners are buying Heavy Rain and FFXIII and God of War, so there money is headed elsewhere. Plus it's one of those games that is just perfect for Live if you have the option between consoles and have a massive friends list of shooter buddies. It just plays well to the audience.

Nice numbers all around. With upcoming numbers for FF week being a spike for both HD systems and some nice quality games like God of War and Alan Wake and Splinter Cell on the horizon still, it looks like it'll be a pretty healthy spring all the way around.

Can't we all just get along and play our games in peace?

I'd like to believe Alice in Wonderland moved hardware :)
