If it was anything like FFXII's system I would have avoided the game entirely, just as I did with WKC.

While playing this for the few hours that I have so far I could tell it was the X team that made it. I loved X and that is probably why I am loving this one so far.

I can say that it feels like FF and it also doesn't slightly. The total futuristic setting kind of pushes it out. But the return of all te awesomeness like Cid, Chocobos, Magic, and Enemies brings it back.

I love the game, and it is probably going to be my 3rd Fav FF game. But sadly it can't touch 8 and 10 at all for me.

I'm sorry, but your reasons are a bit absurd. FFXII didn't had any of those as well, guess that FFXII wasn't a FF to you too.

It has all the staples and commonalities of FF, just because it's missing one or two elements, suddendly it isn't a FF? People are way to picky nowadays >_>

It feels like FF even to me, a major critic of the game since a while now.

I love the fact they ditched that ended tune when fighting battles, i got enough of that from Dissidia! omg... so many times...

I also love the new theme song for normal battles, you know the one with the violen? sounds more classy and this generation, but nothing will beat "Those who Fight" and "Those who fight Further" if you don't know these songs shame on you.

There are actually 3 things that don't make this the perfect FF for me... even if it does still feel like one...

Number 1 ... The Lead character is a female... a bitchy one at that (from where im at chapter 7 i think) they should have made her a him, since you know... Cloud, Squall, Lightning? how the hell does the men equal rain and clouds while a women is the actual bolt of lightning? plus i love me my pretty boys, no way around that.

Number 2 ... They should have givin the game some kind of online activity, of all traditions do break why didn't they do this one? once i beat the game im going to resale it ASAP because theres no replay value.

Number 3 ... Im expecting a "sephiroth" like final boss, well not exactly im expecting that from Versus to be quite honest, but still, the final boss better have Angel wings of some kind, black, white, red, blue, purple, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10... one-hundred, whatever, Kefka started the winged bosses i hope XIII finishs it.

FFXII did had those. When you defeat a boss etc. Guess you didnt really play it huh? omg how do you feel? burn?

IMO XIII is just a game with the Final Fantasy title attached to it.

Plus he gets topless later in the game..  and I will say this, holy shit for detail, his nipples looks so real even with the little bumps around the nipple, not sure what the scientific term is for them :P

Not to mention Cid, Hope, and most of the smaller characters. There's even one who is obessed with fasion. Pretty boy.
