So i was just reading the EA Active 2 game that it will come out for PS3 and wii (and ipod) and  was thinking will this happen to some of 3rd party games like say madworld and conduit in the future.

I know some 3rd party games will be locked like MH or whatever but I think many of Wii games especially the more hardcore ones will hit PS3 in future.with just updated graphics.

what do you think???

Just Dance and some of those type. I doubt any of the Niche games would as they still would not sell millions on it and they would probably loose money in the end. You might end up with more rail shooters.

I don't think 'ported' is the right word but we'll see more multiplats between Wii and PS3

yea i guess they have to taking into consideration the price for porting and estimate how it can sell on PS3 to do a proper risk analysis before actually porting the game.

yea that's what i ment.Epecially since hardcore mature titles don't do so hot on Wii ,,,they might think about laso making it available for PS3

That is somewhat what I am waiting to see.  A "core" game with full out motion controls done well. Not a rail shooter type. I guess for PS3 that would be God of War Uncharted and stuff along thoose lines.  (do not know Sony games well anymore) Although, I guess Red Steel 2 is suppose to pretty awesome.

i hope they port the niche games. so when they fail people can stop blaming the wii.

I could easily see many of the games coming to PSN... They could easily get away with Wii graphics as a downloadable title... better than PS2 graphics by a long shot

I think we will. Not so many old games, but more new games will be multiplat I think. I still see a Dead Space: Extraction as the most likely candidate for an old Wii game getting a port.
