People dont care about those doomsday reports anymore. It is always the same thing. Why should people buy the console for 6499sek without anything, Media markt sold the console for 5600sek and Siba for 6490+Motorstorm+Blu-ray film. Atleast buy from Webhallen for 6199sek and get Blu-ray film and game magazines. Atleast we live in the same city

 

I told you that it did sell, and I am not buying from discshop, but that was all the numbers I got

I was thinking they might have sold out as well... but I forgot the PS3 isn't $600 us dollars it is more like $800 to $1000 there, in some countries even more than that. So thinking about that and how the PS3 broke records despite selling %60 of their stock in two days, I don't know how I could realistically expect them to sell mor than that. I would have had a hard time convincing myself to go and drop $800 much less $1000+ on a PS3 and I am a huge fan of the PS3.

Actualy at least here in Sweden (were it is around 900 USD for the system) you are crazy or uninformed if you just get the system for that amount. As Yojimbo pointed out the big resellers gives a lot of good bundles. Like a one game and one BR movie and so on.

if they can produce that number but please don't make this thread a Wii vs PS3 thread. All threads end up like that last time I looked on this site

Compare Nintendo's annual reports with the charts here. You'll come to the conclusion that it's shipped, not sold, even if they don't come right out and say it like Sony does. Sold means sold to retailers, not sold to the end user. This is only logical. Companies have control over the accuracy of the data of shipped units. They have no such control over sold.

 Except at the beginning of 2007 Nintendo released its figures on sales and differentiated between how much had been shipped and how much had been sold

Paper Mario isn't a 3 million seller for the GC nor will it be here. The Wii will cool off this year and with HUGE titles coming for PS3 and 360 the Wii can't hope or pray to compete! My guess it will stall at 9 million.
