Saw this press release on gonintendo, and I thought the talk of supported controllers (or lack thereof) was notable. Is EA holding back talk of Natal, or is it simply not supported? Support coming in a later patch, perhaps?

When playing The Ryder Cup mode offline, gamers will have the option to swap matches, thus giving you the ultimate control over the outcomes of other matches.

The Ryder Cup, a competition hosted by Ryder Cup Europe LLP and the PGA of America, brings together the best American and European golfers in a team competition format, and the cover of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 is a direct reflection of the tournament – as Tiger Woods denotes the U.S. team and Rory McIlroy represents the Europeans. McIlroy, hailing from Northern Ireland and currently ranked 9th according to the Official World Golf Rankings, has posted several impressive showings early in his professional golfing career. Last year, McIlroy had five top 10 PGA TOUR finishes including a third-place tie in the 2009 PGA Championship and made the cut in all four majors. lol, by definitive I take it you mean prettier graphics. Too bad it will get outsold by the Wii version just like every other year.

Now, the real question, is will the PSWand be launching the same time as the game, or will they be patching it in later. Rumor has it the PSWand won't be out until fall (if I remember correctly).

Actually, I've very surprised there's no balance board support to detect weight shift for even more true to life swing readings.  It's in WSR and it'd be a natural fit for TW.   

I hope PS3 owners get Disc Golf too.   That's a lot of fun.

Anyway. On a more serious note. This is good news as it shows support for the "Arc". And if Tiger Woods is a launch game, it is a VERY good launch game to show what the remote is capable of.

It looks like the HD consoles have that 24 player online mode, too, if that floats your golfballs.

It remains to be seen how many of the golf courses that ship on the Wii disc will be available as paid DLC on the HD versions, though.

Considering the press release says "Wii™, Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 and iPhone™" and not "PlayStation®3, Wii™, Xbox 360® and iPhone™," I'm pretty sure I know which was the lead platform here.

So nobody here is surprised to see EA Sports apparently snubbing Natal?
