Were the OP numbers supposed to be a leak from Famitsu? Because if they were, and if the numbers here - http://blog.livedoor.jp/htmk73/archives/2858090.html - are the actual Famitsu numbers, then this guy's numbers here are on average 10% off Famitsu, not 5%. Yes this may be more precise than the Japan Preview for some games, but the preview is an educated guesstimate based on a little data from one store and past patterns, this is supposed to be a leak (?)

They were that accurate last few weeks, don't really know how they get them, probably an insider guy using preliminary figures from Famitsu. I also heard that they slightly altered them to avoid troubles, don't know if that makes sense or not, but they did come close, they have some data available, this might be a more educated guesstimate than the preview.

the early numbers are nice though, even if you can't take them as exact. They don't seem to include every game in the top 10 though, but for the games listed it is nice to get an early look.
