Not meaning to nitpick but slim refers to the size. A 200 g reduction does not necessarily lead to a slimmer console :P

Anyway, this is good news, and is probably associated with a cost reduction for Sony also

cheaper for Sony to produce.  It probably won't make a difference to the end consumer.  The PS3Slim is probably 2011, and that's why Sony themselves don't call the 120 gig / 250 gig "The Slim."

Cool, I have held off on buying a new PS3 to put in my bedroom, So if this is true I will buy this one.
