EA Sports Active is already confirmed and there are rumors of a first party fitness title.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

errr
4 buttons and 2 axis pads on the left hand? That sounds pretty unpratical....

There is a reason why the nunchuck has only 2 buttons... your only support being your 1 hand, if you use the stick, you can't use your fingers too much.
Anyways the X and O being on the arc too, it'll be just 2 useless buttons...

though with the described setup, I see more the nunchuck as a NES type controler wanabe...

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

I tried to think of a good reason for X and O to be on the Nunchuk, but what I came up with where flawed ideas themselves.

Using X and O on the nunchuk for simple multiplayer games, ie. one person holds arc and another holds the nunchuk, making the controller set up more versatile, but used on it's own a PS nunchuk is less functional than a dualshock, which you'll likely have (multiple of) in addition to the arc controller, so it's bordering on redundant.

I don't know, maybe someone can think of a good reason to have X and O on the Nunchuk?

I can't wait to see those pictures of Iwata holding a nunchuk and wii remote "Nintendo 2005" and the other with some Sony guy holding the arc and nuncharc(?) and saying "Sony 2010"

I can't wait for the meltdown.

I don't see this being expensive at all. Some people already have an Eye and if Sony is smart, they sell Nuchuck + Arc in bundle at 50 bucks. Heck, even 60 bucks would be okay. that's juist the price of a new game. Looking at the numebr of the preorders of games, many people are willing to pay such price. Wiimote + Wii Nunchuck is about the same.

That would be one less game a player can buy. Instead of getting Arc + Nunchuk, the player could have bought a game to play with the dual shock.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Next Sony Systems will probably all come bundled with a DS3 controller + a PSeye. Then you just have to buy an Arc + Other Hand moving device (Name TBA).

I still wanted to Dual-Wield Arcs! (I better still have the option of doing so :)

Excellent news, well once it's confirmed and not a rumor of confirmation then it will be excellent.

I'm buying this and Natal first day, 'cause I'm a gadget geek!

They'd be crazy not to have something like the nuchuck.

If Sony are smart they want developers to be in the position where they can put a game on Wii and PS3 easily due to similar schemes, and Natal is the odd one out needed a totally different input scheme.

But we'll see - I take all this stuff with a big pinch of salt until I see something official

Agreed, agreed and agreed.
