Why would I recommend an RPG to an RPG hater?

I also love how everyone is trying to portray FFXIII as more "action oriented." Based on the battle videos they have shown it looks like it's still turned based. The difference tho is that the "action bar" for the next move is a lot faster compared to past FFs. So in conclusion you will still have to run through quick menus to choose your action. That is not an action game fellas.

So your asking if a person who hates RPG's would like an RPG? Possibly, but not likely.

You did not like KOTOR, Jade Empire or Fable. You would not like Mass Effect series, Elder Scroll series or Fallout series either.

It is unlikely that you will like Final Fantasy games which are more story telling and lots of long cut scenes. JRPG games are well known for being cliche' and boring.

I think you would prefer Star Ocean or Tales of series, since they may pique your interest due to it's nature.

I guess that's what i get for being close minded when it comes to RPGs.(also hate sport and strategic games )

skip it, if you don't like RPG's you will never like them. FFXIII is no different.

I don't know I thought they might have evoloved over the past 5 years that i didn't play any rpgs to something more main stream
