If Bioware were to make KoToR 3 (It kills me to say 'if' by the way) that would surpass it. If Final Fantasy was a trilogy of 4, 6 and 10 (7 for other people in this spot) that would beat it. If there is an official Half-life 3, it would be tough to beat.
Its great but god of war trilogy is greater in my opinion. Please dont kill me.
This hardly matters considering most game series are not trilogies, but the two made so far are danm good games and the biggest reason to own a 360 if u don't care for pc gaming.

lol, that game sucked, it's like they shat that out while working on facial animations for Dragon Age...
Either way, Mass Effect probably isn't the best triology, but Mass Effect 2 might be the best game this gen, top 5 at least.

BTW what makes you so sure that ME is a trilogy? I know the creators say that now...but so have many more than 3 in the series with some changes series around....

it sucks because its not a JRPG and it has ugly faces with no spiky haired guy and an emo kid blaming himself for the entire trilogy.
plus because its not Elder Scrolls, and plus its not RPG anymore (im serious about this one =s )

Super Mario Bros 3 kinda sealed the deal on best trilogy in all of gaming imo :)
I would agree with the people saying KOTOR, because maybe then KOTOR 2 would get some respect it deserves, instead of being treated like garbage.
