i JUST LOOKED AT THE EARLY mETROID NUMBERS

metroid, is some serious core gaming for Wii owners, and since its a Nintendo franchise, western Wii owners will eat it up. I know some 360 friends who will pick up a Wii just for this game, since they were huge metroid fans back in the day.

Metroid Other M may sell well but Pikmin 3 will outsell it.

I always laugh when everybody thinks that Pikmin 3 won't sell good and I think that they are underestimating Pikmin in a big way.

I will bet anyone on here that Pikmin 3 will outsell Metroid Other M lifetime.

Metroid Other M for two reasons.

Its going to be advertised more than any previous Metroid game and name recognition.

And frankly, as a random aside, while Pikmin is a good series, its still a rather niche series that appeals more to 'gamers'. Yes, it does seem like it would appeal to the 'casual' crowd, but it really doesn't hit on that market.

Metroid The Other M has a chance at breaking the million marker but I think Pikmin3 would be a guaranteed million breaker. In the end I think a Pikmin3 would be more successful then Metroid the Other M. Not to mention Pikmin is just a far superior franchise!

Metroid Other M since we know it is actually coming out. Or did they say something about Pikmin 3 again.
