Forums - Gaming - FFXIII Gamepot Review (Video Inside)

Can we make an official ff13 review thread now? 3 threads on the front page with different reviews are silly.

We have an official thread for that

and with 1up & gamespot all the big reviewers have reviewed it now

n its tradition on VGChartz to make review threads for 1up/gametrailers/gamespot/IGN/eurogamer & Edge

XII is quickly getting off the spot of "most controversial FF ever"...

8.5 is a good score, but everybody is freaking out that its not getting 9.5 or 10.

This game was compromised so it could run on the 360. So thats what you get.

This is simply not true, nobody has confirmed this and it has been vehemently denied by SquareEnix.

There is a reason why the game had to be linear and it isn't because SE fancies themselves master storytellers; they are game designers first and foremost, everything else must fit in with that

How many discs would an open world require for the 360 - 6, 8 ??

They have already stated that the graphics for the 360 are 576p whereas the PS3 is 720p

So yes, I believe the game has been compromised to run on the 360. If it was a PS3 exclusive, there would not be limits on what they can and cannot do because of storage space

Fuck... I'm dead!

Well, FFXIII won't be there as long as FFXII, since FFXIV will reclaim that spot when it launches :P

It's the sin of each new FF, to bore the angst and controversy from prior releases XD

OT - Good review and good score :)
