Virtua Fighter 5 is now due on Xbox 360 !!!
Yes ,at least they retain 6 months of exclusivity . On the other hand ,Splinter Cell Double Agent will appear in march in Playstation 3 . Some exclusivities are lost ,some are won .
It's funny too, because I heard they lost the 2-3 exclusives they did because they filed paperwork late.
That bit about paperwork is an ill-founded rumor. Cost for this gen are skyrocketing, and with it already clear that this gen will be much closer in terms of console marketshare, it's only logical to develop the same game on the PS3 and 360 to guarantee profitability. Its a calculated decision, not some simple mistake.

Why don't you also look at the games that were Xbox 360 exclusives that are now on the PS3? As someone else stated, it's calculated, as they will earn a lot more money if they had it on both consoles than if they were paid to keep it exclusive.
Yeah, it's the way things are starting to go now - publishers have to release titles multi-format to attempt to make any money back from them due to skyrocketing costs.
The more I think about it the less I care because we get some Xbox games that we could get a while back. An eye for an eye.

Sieanr you are correct. Double Agent was never an exclusive to begin with. Its on pretty much every platform including the Wii. The sequel to Double Agent is exclusive to 360.
