God of war 2 has sold 2.61 million LTD.

I think god of war 3 will do this in a year.

I agree. GoW3 is a much bigger game for Sony than GoW2, and it should do better.

No contest here GoW3 can make it with a bit of luck under 1-2 months if the critical aclaim is anywhere near the previous iterations.

Absolutely. God of War 2 was hampered by coming out on PS2 at the tail end of the life cycle, when many started migrating to newer consoles. Also, it has been seen a dozen times that the user base doesn't mean anything. I predict three million sales for GOW 3 in 2010.
