Why aren't they... It was already stated why... it would take too long on the PS3. When they were asking for suggestions, they were probably gauging if people would suggest other cheaper options.

On topic, I have said this before and I will say it again, I have lost all hope for a FF VII remake, I don't think it will ever happen they will just keep on toying with all our emotions

I'm not sure i'd go Wii. I'd consider PSP... while securing some money from Sony.
