Forums - Nintendo - Admitting that a game is hard...

Well, now I know why I post on this site. Respect. Thanks everyone for the help concerning RE4. Sorry for my description of the monsters, but I don't remember their name. Someone got it right, they are found in the laboratory. I'll just try evading them cause I'm almost out of ammo.

I really love those kind of games. Nothing beats the atmosphere found there. I finished House of the Dead Overkill and the ending...god...some crazy people have some weird ideas. But, after shaking my head in disgust, I was laughing at the craziness of it.

I don't know, I guess I want the satisfaction of playing a game without the frustration of not being able to finish it. You know?

Anyway, that's about it. Thanks for the help and the comments.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

I actually played the first one. Never finished it but really enjoyed it. Started the second one too but...

Ok, I admit, I am having slight problems with Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles.  I have talked and wrote about this and noticed a trend...nobody is having difficulties with these games.  The majority of postings I read tell that those games are too easy and not challenging enough.  Ok!  I am not your typical teenage player. I am a mature player (38 years old), father and husband.  Maybe I'm to old.

Right now, I am struggling with umbrella chronicles.  God, there is a boss fight every 5 minutes.  Not that I hate it.  Far from it.  But I never get them the first time.  And for RE4, I am stuck.  Can't beat those infested at multiple places monsters.  And now...I cannot finish it!

I like games that are easier, like Resident Evil Shattered Memories, Cursed Mountain or Dead Space Extraction.

Anyway, just felt like sharing my thoughts.  Going to try again tonight...

Every body gets stuck in games.. Thoose that say they never do are just lieing. I have been playing since I was like 4 so 24 years and I still have problems with some of them. Including both you posted about.  I never did finish RE 4 myself so I wish you luck.

RE 4...hard? Honestly, I kind of suck suck at most games, but I finished that game pretty easily.

Try Gamefly for a month and get another one free!

I am also stuck in Final Fantasy XII. It's frustrating. I have played around 25 hours on this one and bam! Boss fight I have trouble winning. I get pretty mad when I try it like 10 times and is health bar needs one more hit...and he regenerates or something. Then WHAMO! Your last character dies. Fun stuff!

^^^

i had that issue too in ff12

turns out you should bother to use effects like shell and stuff like that

it will make a DRAMATIC difference

i was winning spell free forever, then started getting crushed, status effect spells turned it back to normal again

Admitting a game is hard..........must be like stabbing your own pride.
