its funny when i was younger my older brother taught me to play inverted i was playing golden eye and perfect dark with inverted y axis....

now though after not having a console for years (no ps2 and no ps3 until last year) after playing at my friends etc i just cant do inverted anymore... if it was a full joystic maybe i would invert.

i think it has something to do with me playing pc shooters and my instincts are in tune with my mouse

We're almost exactly 50/50, we should do an "invert vs. default" competition on MW2 or Battlefield!

Well, maybe if I was playing some flight simulator it would make sense... But I don't play such games so.

As someone who does it, I can tell you why you would do it... you would do it if it felt more natural.

Used to invert, but one day just stopped. Default controls only now.

As I clicked on this thread, I thought it would be of a sexual nature, and I was trying to figure out what "invert" could be a euphemism for.

Anyway, no. Not on PC, nor on consoles. In my mind, up = up, and down = down. Left = left, Right = right.

I could probably write better with my right hand (I'm a leftie, but I don't like that word, because it also means Communist) than I could play a game with Invert on.
