When you get jaggies for example, thats aliasing. So if they say no aliasing happens it means it's an amzing thing. Because the 'Anti' Aliasing system ( 4xFSAA ) is doing it'sjob of seeing no aliasing. Is that more understanding? So because they say this means it has got the 4xFSAA as they state.

ah haha, I never knew that jaggies were called aliasing.

Anyway, like I said, the game is dark enough to the point where even if it was present, you wouldn't notice it.

However in one of the trailers (the one with the rockslide and the lighthouse) there is a massive sized jaggy on the gate he is trying to open, and in most of the videos, shrubbery (which actually appears to pop-in at some points) are also jaggy. But like I said, it's very hard to notice. I just happen to have hawk like eyes. The game looks brilliant, and it will be a very tight race for the best graphics department this year.

I think AW might get it if only for the amazing lighting system they developed. Shit looks cash.

See above. If yu know Gamersyde, they often dont put all the previews on main page articles. Why I dont know. They are a smaller site than say GameTrailers, but they have a much better community.

It's similar to IGN's comments. They said the graphics were great, just never mentioned anything like they did for U2 or AW. The review will definately be main page though, and probably next week. So they will tell us there thoughts on the retail copy of GOW3 which is even better.

Hell yes. Personally, I think it's right up there. To be honest theres very little in graphics for me between the following, GOW3, Uncharted 2, Alan Wake and Crysis. To say that one really outshines the other is nitpicking. They are in relity all so close. I also believe that we wont see many leaps on for the rest of the gen. Not like we have so far.

I'm sorry, I do disagree there. There isn't a title on PS3 that's as technically impressive as what I've seen from God of War III. None.

Yeah, I kinda agree here despite what I said earlier, the scope of gow is, and always has been, mind-blowingly huge. People were impressed with the train level on UC2....GoW is like the train level throughout the entire game.

Ummmm.

The game looks really good as a whole.
I just think that graphically, KZ2 still looks better. But this based purely upon videos that I've seen of Alan Wake, so, just keep that in mind when you read this.

he loves his console and Alan Wake is a very beautiful game. He can talk and make threads about anything he likes, and from the discussion here, he's been very civil about the whole thing. I'd suggest you do the same.
