Haha, I never ended up beating Red in Gold/Silver. I intend to rectify that on the 14th.

There's an item in the game that allows you to listen to the original tracks as they appeared in the exact locations that you're in. Pretty cool.

Mhm. In FireRed/LeafGreen a Rocket Grunt mentions "a red haired child" as being Geovanni's son, and in HeartGold/SoulSilver it's confirmed to be true if you have a 10 year anniversary Celebi that will trigger a special event.

This is perhaps the only realm where i will acknowledge Red/Blue/Yellow's superiority. Blue (Gary) worked because he was realistic (Silver being a criminal was just overwrought), and yet he was also someone you could really hate (Barry, at least, was too friendly). Though i can't comment on the Ruby/Sapphire folks.
