Sony seriously needs to drop the price of PSP. Soon it will be below PS2 and that is very sad....

psps are like still over 100$ aren't they?

DSfats are like 60$ or something.

Price needs to come down definitely, because this must be getting embarassing for sony.

DSfats are out of circulation new, just like PSP1000/2000.  Current US MSRPs are...

  • $129.99 Nintendo DS Lite
  • $169.99 Nintendo DSi
  • $189.99 Nintendo DSi XL (soon)
  • $169.99 PSP 3000 (core pak)
  • $199.99 PSP 3000 (various entertainment packs)
  • $249.99 PSP go
  • $199.99 Wii
  • $199.99 Xbox 360 (Arcade)
  • $299.99 Xbox 360 (Elite)
  • $299.99 PlayStation 3 (120GB Slim)
  • $349.99 PlayStation 3 (250GB Slim)
  • $99.99 PlayStation 2 (Slim)

good going for the Ps3. Can't wait for Yakuza 3!

I'm not sure why, but I meant buying used from gamestop. A used psp from GS is like 129 or so while a fat is like 60-70

Is VGC tracking used sales though? NPD doesn't... I don't think this matters really.

it doesn't. I'm just complaining about psp

How was the supply of Wii's last year at this time? A 70K 1 year drop is still concerning, unless it is completely dictated by supply issues.

The PSP sales are sad, but I can understand why no one would want to buy one. Ever since they eliminated the game discs, the PSP has started to resemble the IPOD touch in many ways. In my mind, I would much rather have an IPOD touch than go with a PSP. There are only so many of these pocket machines I can carry around with me.

Most anticipated games of 2011:

Uncharted 3,Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Rocksmith

Modern Warfare 3, Super Mario 3D

good numbers. good for ps3, hope its re stocking numbers and not HR boost

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

It's down ~45K YoY, not ~70K. Not long ago it was down ~100K, though.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Yes, it's ~45k YOY. As to supplies, if I remember correctly first quarter last year was the first time the Wii was NOT supply contrained, so in that light such a drop is not worrying imo.
