Forums - Gaming - Out on nowhere, discovery of Syberia

Well, for those who know me, I DIDN'T PLAY ENDLESS OCEAN BLUE WORLD last night.  For the record, I have been playing this game exclusively for seven days in a row.  Then, out of the blue, came Syberia.  I bought this game, part of a compilation, because it was cheap.  I am not usually a big fan of adventure gaming.  I don't always have the patience to go through every nook and details of a environment.

But in Syberia, I really don't mind.  Even if it's a dated game, the graphics look, well, like pieces of art.  Beautiful locations are rendered in great style.  The story is one crazy thing.  And by crazy I mean creative, unexpected and addictive.  The characters are interesting and the dialogue is really top notch.

And finally, it's accessible.  I have played other adventure games where I felt like a six year old in need of a university diploma.  But not here.  The puzzles are so far all challenging but they can be done.  And they really fit well in the story.

So, another great game.
