Wow this game actually looks pretty decent I might have to give it a try.

One question: will I understand the story in FF13 if I have never played a Final Fantasy game before?

THe 360 dvds were ripped and the FMVs in FF13 are also 576p, not even 720p. they suffer from massive macro blocking and are of absolutely horrible quality. You can see them here..

download the zip file and extract it. Inside you find a .exe this .exe is the exact file that you'll see when your 360 plays. and you cant alter the resolution, it plays native and theres no option to stretch it.

The IN game normal ps3 graphics are far superior to the FMV quality on the 360.

Not only that, they didn't even fill the disc space. meaning they were very lazy about compression.
This might be the worse port I've ever seen by the SAME developer.

Bayonetta obviously was much worse, but it was not done by platinum games.

Awesome, that improves my chances of giving it a try.

After watching that, thank god I didn't reserve this game. This is a bargain bin buy for me now. The battle system is still far too slow for me.

Vanille's voice acter is fine as well. That is how she is suppose to sound (check out the japanese videos).

u people don't know voice acting because as far as there personality and looks go the voices fit perfectly.
