why does anyone care that they fired the president and vp? It's not like they are the creative talent behind the games. The real geniuses here are the devs themselves. Right?

This may spell the end for the Call of Duty series as we know it. Treyarch developed CoD 3, and World at War and both those games were met with not so favorable remarks from the hardcore CoD player. As for Sledgehammer Games (formally Visceral Games) developing a CoD Action-Adventure game this is called bastardizing the series. Call of Duty worked well as an FPS as and action adventure it will be an epic fail. And if I remember correctly didn't Visceral change their name cause they developed crap games?

Activision should die a hardcore painful death.

I may not like the MW games. But at least the MW games are better than the other CoD games. Activision is stupid. They just made you a billion dollars you IDIOTS.

One word comes to mind: Hubris

Looks like the gold mine is going to collapse on them anytime now.

Activision Boss 1: We got a massive ROI with those IW folks.
Activision Boss 2: Yeah. They really did great work.

Not to mention one of the most frustrating and broken online experiences... everyone bridging for host, lag switching, camping their butt down and never moving, bullet lag around corners, party merging still broken...

I like it when a good host is picked and there is little bullet lag but when it gets bad its just way too annoying to stand.

Did Activision refuse to pay a single penny to Infinity Ward for MW2? Maybe Infinity Ward speaking up and going public on Activisions refusal to pay up had something to do with their firings?? I'm just speculating, but if that's true, that's pathetic.

COD:MW1 is still $59 and isn't a greatest hit but it's been out for over 2 years and has over 5million in sales and Activison refuses to make it Greatest Hits and lower the price to $29. I mean Street Fighter and Battlefield Bad Company are Greatest Hits and have been out shorter and have sold less.

Activision is so greedy and COD games are above average, they've just managed to hypnotise everyone thinking it's a must have.
